LEXINGTON - If there is one thing Chuck Smith has definitely done for Kentucky's linebackers, it is make the game fun.
"He has brought back that fun, exciting, up tempo style of play that guys like," said Jon Sumrall, a former UK linebacker who is now a graduate assistant coach. "He brings a little bit of that high school feeling of getting dirty and working hard on fundamentals and the little things to get better. But he somehow makes it fun every day.
"Everyone has heart and that starts with coach Smith," Woodyard said. "Everybody leaves everything on the field every day. Coach Smith has you play with passion."
