How many games must Rich Brooks win this fall to keep his job? If you've heard that question once in the months leading up to the new football season, you've heard it a thousand times, right? And it serves only as a source of speculation, because nobody who is speaking on the subject truly knows the answer. Bubba I think you at least in the neighborhood with 4. I think 4 puts him on borderline to go either way and 5 saves him for sure!
I also mostly agree with Tom Leach in the article that the last thing in a normal situation these players need is another coaching change. But this is not a normal situation, another 2-9 campaign and will even the players think that this staff can get it done? That goes back to, was Rich really a good choice for this job? I think my thoughts on that question are well known. So I will leave it at that!
