First of all I know some people will say, the injuries and the probation, the lack of scholoarships are to blame! I will say I am taking into consideration all those things as I write this post!
But, its obvious after last weeks uninspired, heartless performance and now this mess today. I know Florida is good but we quit after Florida got ahead. Who wouldnt quit with all the emotion and fire that Rich has on the sideline? He is NO leader, he is No motivator, he is NO gameplanner! I have no doubt he knows some football but it is becoming more and more obvious that he really doesnt care. Will someone please check his pulse? I can sum it up like this. I had 2 chances in the last 24 hours to attend this game for free and declined both offers! Can you imagine paying to see this mess? Of course I paid to see last weeks mess also! I wonder if when Mitch Barnhart evaluates Rich Brooks if he takes that into consideration? I am about to join those lots and lots of others who just simply makes the comment that I dont really care, because it doesnt seem like Barnhart does
One has to wonder is there a chance that Rich resigns from some of the emberassment we are going to face this year? I say, no he rides it out if for no other reason for the money!

I thought they played hard until the minutes started building up heavily on UK's defense, then it was mighty tough on them to hang. I was proud of the offense in the last quarter when UF was getting embarassed and put their first string defense back in there and it didn't do anything until the last UK play when we should have scored. If UK get's their feet back up underneath them, they just might play with a little more sprit than the IU game. Let's hope for their sake they do, to heck with what us fans think, just think about how the team and coaches feel.

Bubba, you are a lot more optimisitic about this situation then I am. I dont really get excited about making a game semi close because the other team basically packed it in at the half! Lets be thankful this wasnt a Steve Spurrier coached Florida team it would have been 80-7! I will as I said give them credit for not quitting but other then that, I dont see much to get even remotely excited about the rest of the year. I am sure in Mitch Barnharts mind the injuries and probation will be enough to buy Good ole Rich another 3 or 4 years of this MESS!
Anoyne who says, that getting rid of Brooks is a mistake because the program doesnt need to start over again is only fooling himself. Who in their right mind right now can look in the mirror and say that starting over isnt better then the MESS we have right now? Yes MESS is going to be my new word the rest of the season to describe the Rich Brooks era, its the only one that really fits!!
