LEXINGTON, Ky. -- Steve Brown stood on the sideline and yelled instructions to the defense. "Alert: draw. Alert: screen," the University of Kentucky assistant football coach shouted. Ten of the players heard him. The 11th, sophomore linebacker Terry Clayton, crouched in his stance, eyed the backfield and never turned his head to acknowledge Brown. Clayton has been deaf since he was 5 years old. Chickenpox and a dangerously high fever robbed him of his hearing but not his desire to compete. More..click hereDefinitely a feel good story.
