Kevin Hench / FOXSports.com Bobby Knight Part of the joy of watching Knight lose is that you know he is totally, inconsolably miserable. You almost forget that he's that way after he wins too. Still, it's hard to imagine what would happened to Neil Reed's trachea if Knight hadn't been so thoroughly mellowed by those three NCAA titles at Indiana. As for the third one, I blame Derrick Coleman and Howard Triche for depriving us of some epic Robert Montgomery Knight misery by missing those free throws in 1987 and opening the door for Keith Smart. More..click hereA fun read with much much more. PS: I didn't know where to put this being it has different sports entries.

Nothing made Robert Montgomery Knight madder than losing to the Cats. Oh, how I miss those days.

Me too, it's not half as much fun beating those Hoosiers with Knight being there. It's still fun though.

Being born and raised in the state of Indiana, then only being about 45 minutes from IU, it made the area heavy with die-hard "Boob" fans. However, I never liked the man. So I am never sorry to hear about his losses.
A little side note -- The Bubba watches loads of basketball. First, every Cat game available. Second, everyone in the SEC (to see how the Cats fair). Next, everyone in the top "?", again to see how the Cats stack up. And last, every IU game to see Knight take a defeat. We have finally been able to break away from some of the IU games, since the "General" has been replaced (plus Mike Davis is working hard to develop a good team).

Bubbette, college basketball season is the same at our house. As a matter of fact, we are going to cancel our Netflix subscription for now. Yes, I will watch a Duke game if I happen upon it and they are losing. I understand the Big Blue mind.
