HOOVER, Ala. - When Kentucky football fans play the projection game of how many wins the Wildcats can get, Mississippi State and Vanderbilt always are two schools that have circles around them.

The Wildcats are 6-34 in the Southeastern Conference in the past five years. All but one of those victories have come against either the Bulldogs or the Commodores.

They just might have to retract this story if the Cats can pick it up a notch with some of their new recruits and returning starters. I'm feeling optimistic for some reason that our boys are going to do OK this year.
