I heard on talk radio today the best thing to happen during the Brooks era was South Florida crushing UofL the other night! Come to think of it the guy had a point! Isnt that sad?

It sure took a lot of a load off of him and the team.

Just between you and I and everyone else who reads this board. I think Brooks needs a lot more of a load on his shoulders, in terms of pressure of doing a better job to earn his thousands he puts in the bank every other friday!

I don't think the guy wants to be known as a loser, he's been placed in a bad spot and is trying to fight his way out. His techniques may be suspect but I think he cares. I watch the tube too.

You may be right, he may care. But I just dont see it myself. I will just have to stick to my guns on this one and say he may not want to be known as a loser but it isnt eating him up with anger or pain. It will be very interesting to see if things continue to unfold the way they are right now if he would resign. A lot of people, including myself would make the statement if the season continues like this, if he really cared about the players, the school and the program he'd realize he isnt the one to get this job done! He still has 3 years on his contract and what that tells me, is it isnt likely that he leaves or that Barnhart tells him to leave. If I had to make a prediction I would say get ready for at LEAST 1 more year of this "MESS" after this!
You know without a doubt that everyone on our schedule sets around and hopes he stays here forever!

Time will tell but still the answers may not be truly known.

You make a GREAT point!!
People who believe he can and will do the job will keep saying that the state of the football program is more due to the probation and scholarship reductions, instead of his actual coaching and decision making.
People who do not think he can get the job done will continuously point to his record and performance as indications he isnt the man for the job.
So its all subjective to what each individual person thinks in his mind is the answer!
