Nor will it go back down to where it was before the rising started for the last time. Its amazing that it just keeps going up and nothing other then the hurricane can even be pointed to as a reason!

When oil companys loose Katrina as their excuse to gouge us, they will come up with another reason. And in the mean time they still keep making record profits.

Looks like Rita was another reason for them. Was 2.63 here on Friday. I ain't been nowhere this weekend to pass by a gas station.

It was back up to 2.73 from 2.60 when I got home from work Friday. I haven't been out since due to yardwork and rain but read where it should be back down again.

2.79 at the speedway down the street from my house this morning, which is a jump of 20 cents since Friday evening!

I'll find out here in a bit, I have to go out into the cruel world and leave the safety of The Bubba's Wildcat den. It's tough going out there in Hoosier land every day. After a loss you get to go nurse your wounds on other Wildcat fans shoulders, all I get is "Hey, at least we can beat you in football" and "Boy, IU smoked you guys". Not very endearing when your're in mourning.  |

Well a good response to them if they were still on our schedule next year would be, Rich Brooks isnt going to coach us forever!
But since we wont play them next year here is a possible response to them! "See you in basketball season, remember Rich Brooks doesnt coach our basketball team, he coaches yours"

I wouldn't dare say that about Davis, they are going to have a very good team this season and that would jinx us for sure.

You are pretty safe with whatever you say about Davis. Even though they will be better, he is still their coach and that will keep them from ever being really good!

Davis is going to be judged closely this season as is Brooks. If Davis falters, it may be his last at IU. Brooks still has the injury/scholarship thing to get him one more season (that and buddie Barhart).
Also too about Davis, if IU were to beat UK this year it might save his job so they will be pumped.

I will say the same thing to you I been saying for the last 4 or 5 years! As long as Mike Davis coaches IU and Tubby Smith coaches UK, they will never beat us!
