LEXINGTON - It used to be that Southeastern Conference baseball programs largely fell into one of two categories: national powerhouses and Kentucky. But with less than a week to go in the regular season, the Wildcats are ranked in the nation's top 10 for the first time in school history and are closing in on that elusive first-ever SEC title. That's the same SEC that in the last 16 years has produced 100 NCAA tournament teams, 32 College World Series participants and six national champions.
