What I know: I lost confidence in the Mitch Barnhart regime early on over its handling of the Kentucky football program.
What I think: Two things. There were a lot of Kentucky fans who did the same. And going into year four of the Rich Brooks era, the jury is, at best, still out on the football decisions made by the Kentucky athletics director.
However, credit where credit is due, if you look at the overall results compiled by the UK athletics program over the past two school years, Kentucky is competing at a high level in more sports than it ever has before.

If Brooks pulls out a good season and it appears that he might, Barnhart will look even better. Now then, lets get those basketball Cats looking better.
