LEXINGTON – The University of Kentucky has been selected as one of 16 hosts for regional play in the 2006 NCAA Baseball Tournament beginning this weekend, it was announced Sunday by the NCAA. It is the first time in school history UK has been chosen to host an NCAA Baseball Regional. Kentucky, the Southeastern Conference champion, and Pepperdine are the only two teams to hold that distinction this year. That's good news. I thought that we would do better in the SEC tourney. Maybe we can turn it up in the big one.

It sure would be nice but baseball is more fickled to me than basketball and we know how upsets happen with it. I look for UK to do well though, they have a pretty fair country ballclub.
