The University of Kentucky women’s soccer team defeated Louisville tonight, Aug. 18, by a score of 2-0 in its lone exhibition contest of the season at Cardinal Park.
The first half belonged to Kentucky as they controlled the ball for the majority of the first 45 minutes. The Wildcats attempted seven shots on goal before UofL was able to take their first, a 38:17 span to begin the game. UK ended the half with 11 shots to the Cardinals’ two. Oh well, even if it's only soccer, it's still a win against the Cards.
