Tough game for the Cats, the Ball St. left hander was just a bit too much. Better luck next year. Congrats on a great season and being the SEC champs.

It's a double elimination tournament. The Cats play Notre Dame tomorrow. If they lose to the Irish, it's really over. Let's hope they can pull out a win tomorrow. GO CATS!

Thanks Trueblue, I knew there was a consolation game but wasn't aware of it being a double elimination. Dumb old me.

we go for about 6 to 8 hrs a day and our sore feet barely can get us back to the motel. Believe it or not, this motel we're staying at (it's a nice one) doesn't even have air conditioning. That's because it's always cool in Frisco. The Bubbette kept me out until about 9 pm Thursday, that's about 11 hours of sightseeing. Yesterday we went to the Golden Gate Bridge and China Town. My wife kept pestering me to see this famous crooked road located somewhere in between them. This road is like a big snake S curving it's way to the bottom of the hill (1/4 Mile) Whoopee. I told her we had to be back for the Pistons game (we barely made it). We may be able to go to Haight Ashbury today if my sweetie gets the laundry caught up. You sure go through the clothes. We catch our train tomorrow morning and get back to Indiana Tuesday afternoon. I'll sure be glad, I'm getting a bit weary of being a tourist. I don't think I've ever heard so many different foreign languages in one day. French, Australian, Hispanic, German, Chinese, Japanese, British or English as they like to say (is there a difference?) and some I'm still not sure about. We're still having fun though but the Bubba is really missing a home cooked meal from my sweetie.

I bet there were a lot of people thinking that the Cats and Notre Dame would meet, but not in the consolation game of the bracket!

The Cats better suck it up, ND is no slouch. That would be two Indiana teams back to back. I have to go back there you know.

As evidence by yesterday, good pitching still beats good hitting most of the time!
