Jerry Tipton HERALD-LEADER STAFF WRITER Newcomers Rekalin Sims and Jared Carter fueled optimism for another standout Kentucky season. A suffocating press validated fan hopes of a faster-paced style this season. And the familiar bugaboos of rebounding and free-throw shooting provided reasons for pause. You cant get to excited or too depressed by an exhibition game! Remember the loss to EA Sports the same year we won 26 in a row? BUT, this team looked overall very good I thought! I was impressed with almost everyone as compared to last year and Sims is going to be a crowd favorite because he does SO MANY different things well! Plus it was obvious he was REALLY excited to be there and stayed pumped up! In closing what I thought overall was this. Its Rondo's game he is just letting everyone else play!!!!
