Advocate-Messenger LEXINGTON - Northern State's players were supposed to be in awe of getting to play in Rupp Arena. After all, Northern State is a Division II team that plays in an 8,000-seat arena in South Dakota. The team had to make an 18-hour bus ride to get here for Wednesday's exhibition game against Kentucky. The Wolves not only toured Keeneland earlier Wednesday, but they also got a pep talk from UK coach Tubby Smith. More..click hereSims really impressed me with his presence, by that I mean he seems like he has been with UK from day one (two years) and that this is not his first. He seems to have a bit of Derek Anderson's personality and also a bit of a ham as I remember from the radio interview. I'm very happy to welcome Sims to the Big Blue family.
