Michael Smith The Courier-Journal LEXINGTON, Ky. -- Normally, the University of Kentucky men's basketball team serves as a measuring stick for other programs. But when the Wildcats face Iowa tonight in the semifinals of the Guardians Classic, it'll be the other way around because they'll be searching for answers that couldn't be found in their first two games. Like the other three teams in Kansas City, Mo., for the next two nights, the Cats will take a major step up in competition. The field offers no team ranked worse than 20th. Texas is ranked second, Kentucky eighth and West Virginia 14th. And although the Hawkeyes are the lowest-ranked team of the bunch at 20th, they might be the team most likely to find its midseason form this early in the season and pose a major test for the Cats tonight. Iowa does have all five starters back! This will be a serious test for us as a team to see where we are at. I do think our guys will be ready for the challenge!!

They are at least 8 deep and as the article said, the top 3 scorers off the bench are 6'8.
