HAL MORRIS Advocate-Messenger LEXINGTON - Sheray Thomas spent as much of his offseason with a knife and fork in his hands as a basketball. The Kentucky forward dropped around 35 pounds after having a benign tumor removed about a year ago. Thomas didn't feel nearly as strong as he should have when he finally got to play in late December. So aside from weight training, he went home to Canada for some good home cooking to help get back to his playing weight. More..click hereThomas is a hard worker and believes in himself, those qualities will in time make him a very tough player. I love his determination and work ethics. I wish him the best because he has a big heart which makes others on the team try to emulate him.

Thomas looked much more physical and more confident. I dont see him as ever being a big scorer but he will be one of those players that a good team has to have, BLUE collar!!!
