Some days, it's just your day.
For Jenny Pfeiffer, yesterday was that day.
The Kentucky guard knew it was her day as soon as her three-point shot clanked off the back of the rim, floated in the air for what seemed like 20 seconds, then spun forward and into the basket.
"That was just sheer luck," the junior said, smiling.
From that point on, luck seemed to have little to do with it as Pfeiffer finished a career day with 29 points off the bench to lead UK over Alabama 80-60 in front of 9,120 at Rupp Arena.
