Perhaps Rekalin Sims missed the memo that says it normally takes junior college transfers some time to adjust when playing Division I basketball.

A better explanation might be that Sims is talented enough to make an impact without a lengthy transition period.

Granted, it was against an NAIA school, but Sims showed an array of skills in helping No. 9 University of Kentucky to an 85-63 exhibition victory over Georgetown College at Rupp Arena Wednesday night.
