It was far from a great performance. Our defense was pretty good. For the most part except a few instances we competed on the boards. We played well enough to win the game in all areas of the game except shooting! Rondo and Bradley especially in the second half consistantly beat their man off the dribble and created open shots for teammates who simply didnt hit their shots!
Sometimes coaches, fans and players make this game really complicated! But the bottom line is sometimes you just have to block everything else out and just go up and put the ball in the hole! Last night it did not happen, lets hope when teams use that philosophy against us in the future of stopping our guards from getting all the way to the goal that we make them pay!

There were several times I kept wondering, you're 7'3, block some shots and get some rebounds.

I think my exact comment early in the game about Shagari was that he would have trouble CATCHING a cold outside naked in a January snowstorm!

He needs to get tough and get a few roughing the passer fouls. Oops, wrong sport.

Shagari and Woo remind me of 2 guys playing with oven mitts on! At least there is no place to go but up for them! "When the ball gets between your hands close them", quote by Coach Tim Browning/Dave Parks.

You never know when Tim Browning/Dave Parks quotes can come in handy. I also think your oven mitts comment hit it right on the head!!
