Malibu, Calif. - Sophomore center Sarah Elliott (McKee, Ky.) came up big for the Wildcats in the first round of the Pepperdine Classic Friday, scoring all of her game-high 19 points in the second half to led the Kentucky women's basketball team to a 68-58 win over Indiana State. Fellow sophomore Samantha Mahoney (Detroit) had 16 points and a team-high nine rebounds while sophomore forward/center Eleia Roddy (Columbus, Ohio) added 10 points and seven rebounds in the win. Freshman point guard Carly Ormerod (Louisville, Ky.) dished out a season-high six assists to go along with eight points and four rebounds.
