UK Athletics LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) -- Sophomore point guard Rajon Rondo had 17 points and a career-high 12 rebounds to lead No. 9 Kentucky past South Dakota State 71-54 on Sunday night in the first round of the Guardians Classic. Rekalin Sims added 11 points for the Wildcats (1-0), who will play Lipscomb - a 72-60 winner over Northern Colorado - on Monday night in the second round. The winner will advance to the tournament's semifinals Nov. 21 in Kansas City, Mo. More..click hereThe team is still a little sloppy but it's early yet. They will have to shape up soon or Iowa will have their scalp when they play. I just finished watching the game and don't think the starting five is set in stone yet, This needs to be done soon so guys can relax a bit.

Very Very sloppy game! Although Rondo done great, I don't know what woo's problem is and i really don't think he should start. I also liked the way Crawford drove to the basket tonight

Let's hope this is just the beginning for Crawford, he is looking a lot more relaxed.

I think as always with Tubbys team it is a work in progress. I expect the lineup to be changed soon. I would not be surprised to see us go with Sheray and Rekalin inside with the three guards. Kind of like the year we went with Daniels and Hayes and the three guards.
As for the game it was very sloppy. I think it is somewhat due to the 2nd earliest opener in UK history! Tubby even says there are so many things they simply havent had time to work on! But some of it has to be put on the players getting the job done! I am still very excited abotu this team because you do see flashes of excellence at times! Also as I stated and it was shown last night, its Rondo game he is just letting everyone else play!!!
