UK Athletics Kentucky returns to Rupp Arena for a three-game homestand, starting with Friday night’s game against Liberty. The Wildcats finished third at the Guardian’s Classic in Kansas City, claiming an 80- 66 win over West Virginia in the consolation game. Patrick Sparks was outstanding for UK against West Virginia, tallying a season-best 25 points on 8- of-13 shooting to earn all-tournamet honors. He was 7-of-11 from three-point range, tying his career best for three-pointers made. Rajon Rondo added his second double-double of the year with 15 points and 10 boards. The UNC game is just looming there with a chance this year to give them some of what they gave us last year! We will get a little bit of an idea about UNC when they host Illinois mid week next week in the Big 10-ACC challenge!!
