Trueblue, go wash your mouth out with soap. Where is your backbone. UK will suck it up and play big tonight. If not, it's going to be a long season.

Unless, we come up with some offense besides Sims, we may get Pittsnoggled. I think that we can win tonight but we will have to play very differently than we did last night-more assists than turnovers would be a good start. I didn't understand having no shooters on the floor at the end of the game. Sparks didn't see enough playing time. Also, for the play to get into a flow and the players to become cohesive; I think that we have to let five players (or at least 1-4) stay on the floor for a while together. I did like the fact that we did better or our offensive rebounding. That will be a factor tonight as well. Also, the full court press was working. Why didn't we stay with it? Using a small quick team that we had to use is perfect for the press.

I basically agree with everything you asid also. I will say this, how many assists would our guards have had if we had shot just a little better? So i think that kind of goes back to the point of not hitting shots also. For the most part we got good shots, due to our penetration!

I agree with UK9698, we missed way too many shots(Thomas especially) after Rondo broke the defense down and made the proper pass. It is rare that we lose 2 in a row so I am predicting we win tonight. WVU will be more tired than we will due to our depth. UK 73 WVU 66

Tubby shouldnt ride Crawford on the bench for this game.

UK, you make a good point. They only count as assists if the shot goes in. I heard that Crawford had a slight injury going into last night's game-just a bruised knee and thigh I think but I still don't think that he should have been on the bench all that time when no one was playing better than he was. He looked very dejected. I hope we learned a lot from last night's game, and we come out fired up and kick some Mountianeer bootey!
And Tubby, you can't carry time-outs over to another game; so use 'em!

I'm not feeling too good about our chances tonight after watching WV lose a game they should have won against the #2 team in the nation. These kind of games will only make UK stronger down the road though. Tough competition is what we need.

I was wrong. You can smite me. But, I'm happy that I was. I was happy to see that the team came out fired up and took the challenge. I didn't get to watch the game, just listened. But, from what I heard we looked much sharper. Yes, Patrick Sparks was in the game and he was on fire. I loved it when Pratt said that WVU was getting "Sparksnoggled".
