Michael Smith The Courier-Journal LEXINGTON, Ky. -- The instructions from University of Kentucky basketball coach Tubby Smith are clear. When he inserts a player into the game, he expects defense and rebounding first, followed by whatever offense he can muster. And most of the Wildcats take that to heart. But when Ramel Bradley enters a game, one thing is certain: A shot is going up pretty soon. I like his shooting philosophy myself, shoot until they start going in.

Whenever Ramel comes in I always turn to Liz and say, how long before he gets one up? I actually used to subscribe to his philosphy myself, you cant score if you dont shoot!!

Trueblue, the way our centers have shot the ball so far, I am not sure i would want them with those ideas in their head or not!! haha only kidding. I am hopeful that Woo and Shag get a little more offensive minded!

Everyone forgets that Jamaal Magloire barely could hit the backboard before halfway through his junior year. Woo and Shag should improve but may not turn into the scoring machine Mags was.
