UK’s DeMoss Signs New Five-year Contract

Kentucky women's basketball coach Mickie DeMoss, who led the Wildcats to a top-four finish in the Southeastern Conference and an appearance in the NCAA Tournament for the first time in seven years, has been rewarded a new five-year contract worth $350,000 annually, UK Director of Athletics Mitch Barnhart announced Monday

Great news for the gals basketball program and UK fans. Demoss is more than deserving of this extension and UK fans are very fortunate to have such a classy coach for the ladies team. GO MICKIE!

You are very right, we are VERY fortunate to have Mickie as our coach! This is a great move on our part to try and keep a hold of her!

I can guarantee there is one school down I-75 south who sometime down the road will come calling when a certain legend retires from their sidelines!
