Northern Kentucky gave the Kentucky women its best shot, but Samantha Mahoney helped provide the knockout punch in the Cats' 77-60 exhibition win Wednesday night in Memorial Coliseum.
The junior guard, who lost more than 10 pounds in the off-season working with a boxing trainer, scored a game-high 28 points to lead Kentucky.
