John Clay HERALD-LEADER A year ago, Tubby Smith was praising Kentucky's strategic scheduling. With impact freshmen on the roster, the Kentucky coach wanted to take it slow. "We tried to build our schedule so they could develop the proper way," said Smith last February of last year's team. "I think that (has been) a big key for us." Now, barely a week into the new season, the Cats head to Kansas City for back-to-back games against a pair of top-20 foes. Which is the best way to prepare for the long haul?
