TEAM HAS EMBRACED ALL-FOR-ONE MENTALITY
For the most part, the Kentucky women's basketball team is remarkably unremarkable.
There are no McDonald's All-Americans on the roster. There are no potential dunkers or star speedsters.
On the surface, there is no reason for this team to have, in one year, gone from a Southeastern Conference nobody to a national somebody, awaiting its first NCAA Tournament bid in seven years when the women's bracket is unveiled tonight.
But as Coach Mickie DeMoss learned, just looking at the surface isn't delving deep enough.

These Cats have more than team chemistry, they have soul. They are as one and I am very proud of them. Hats off to our Cats, they be special little country girls. GO CATS! ;D
