It almost seemed like the Cats took Gtown too lightly. When I was watching Gtown warm up and with the athleticism and all the dunking going on, I knew these boys could play. I was further impressed with their guards 3 pt shooting and their trapping. Gtown is a pretty decent team and in my opinion worthy of a D1 rating. The Cats decided to pick it up a notch the second half and Gtown started to get a bit fatigued and soon it was over. Gtown should definitely hold their heads high, they are a tough little club. Their coach has gotten them up to speed really early in the season.

It almost seemed like the Cats took Gtown too lightly... Bubba - I think that is a good thought. It's easy to do, particularly for a young team no matter how often the coaches warn of it. 24 turnovers tells me we were not prepared mentally for the level of competition Georgetown provided. This was the Tiger's chance to bask in the sun. They were playing on television, their 40 minutes of fame, and were NOT going to be embarrassed. Yeah, we won but the Tigers have earned a huge serving of respect.

I think we're both on the same page here and we both know that teams play up or down to their competition sometimes. Georgetown is a well oiled machine and was playing their hearts out . I for one am very proud they are a part of Kentucky basketball.
