It appears that a promising showing against Louisville this weekend already has garnered results for the University of Kentucky football program, as the Cats picked up two oral commitments for their 2006 recruiting class.
Paul Warford, a 5-foot-10, 200-pound speedster from Madison Central, was in the stands for the U of L game and committed to UK yesterday.
"After watching (Kentucky) and seeing what they can do and what the coaches can do, I decided to go on ahead and commit," Warford said.
LaMarckus Boswell, a 5-foot-10, 170-pound receiver from Greenville, S.C., also told UK offensive coordinator Joker Phillips yesterday that he'll sign with Kentucky in February.
