The University of Kentucky picked up its second in-state oral commitment for its 2006 recruiting class when North Laurel linebacker Chris Cessna told the UK coaching staff yesterday that he'll sign with the Wildcats next February.
Kentucky was the heavy favorite to land the 6-foot-4, 210-pound Cessna, who also considered Purdue and Western Kentucky.
"I knew pretty much where I wanted to go the whole time," Cessna said. "I've watched UK since I was little and have always wanted to wear blue."
