Anybody heard anything about us recruiting this kid? I just heard that there was a mutual interest. scout.com/a.z?s=240&p=8&c=1&nid=1607652If he is 6'6", I would think small forward rather than power forward unless he plays bigger than that and he can jump.

He's supposed to be pretty decent and a SF for sure but you never know when push comes to shove.

Well, I guess I was wrong about him playing PF and some list him as tall as 6'8. Maybe he'll grow into it?

Hey dds, thanks for the links. I didn't know that Nash was spending another day at U.K. That could be good news.

He hasn’t signed yet, and Tubby has not had much luck for long while in recruiting, so we can’t get overly excited, but then again Tubby has to be just about out of bad luck, so why not?
Nobody but noooooobody beats out Tubby in materializing talented players in the 11th hour – he is a magician. And nobody beats him at developing them into good players.
Add to that, to the fact that Nash looks to have a strong upside. Namely his potential for improving and getting bigger. Most people reach about 1/3 of their height by, and grow at a constant rate after age three, until they stop growing at 17 or 18. My son grew until he was 18. Nash’s dad says he is still growing, only 17, and currently 79” tall, if he fits into the normal growth curves he could grow another ((2/3)(79) / 14 ) = 3.76 inches in the next year!!! I’ll settle for just 6 months worth.
He could turn out to be great addition.

Very interesting post dds, not only the comments about Tubby and recruiting but about potential growth for Nash. I know I grew another inch after I got out of high school (17 yrs 8 months) maybe he will grow a couple.
