He's won a state championship and coached a Mr. Basketball. He's made South Laurel into one of the state's top high school basketball programs.
Yet coach Steve Wright admits he was more than just a little apprehensive about being a co-coach for the McDonald's All-American Game in Louisville.
"I was a little concerned about it. You have all these great players coming together, but you really had no idea how they would accept coaching or get along," said Wright.
What Wright discovered was that working with the nation's elite high school players was fun.
