Scholarship offers from Iona and Morehead State couldn’t keep Kerry Benson from following his dream to play for the Big Blue.
Benson, a 6-foot-6 forward from Pleasure Ridge Park High School, announced last night that he has accepted an offer to be a walk-on for the University of Kentucky basketball team.

He must either love the Cats or has a lot of confidence in himself to pass on the scholarship offers from Iona and Morehead St. Maybe both. I say, if you're going to have a walkon, 6'6 aint bad.
