Does anyone think with a year in the weight room he could be like Tyrus Thomas?
They seem to be similar type players.
Although I believe Perry weighs more right now than Tyrus did his Sr yr. What is Perry up to, 210lbs?

We will have to see how far along he is next year when he gets here. I know he has a lot of skill and a lot of raw talent. I am excited to see him at madness next year!

Perry is touted to be an very decent shot blocker and hopefully we get a very decent S&C coach to build him up.

You do know they are looking at his freshman and Sophmore years because they believe he might now hold the H.S. shot blocking record. Many feel if he isnt he is close. So if it is close then he is a very good shot blocker.

On one of Tubby's call in show, he was compared to a Noah type of player. I'm sure they may have meant after his freshman year but Noah wasn't killing anyone his Freshman year either. Stevenson may just have a better Freshman year than Noah did if he beefs up a bit.

That would be a lot to ask even of a sophomore but it would be good. There aren't too many Noahs out there, but it would be nice if he turns out to be one!

I think, if anything, he is more in the mold of Tyrus Thomas.
