HUNTINGTON SNAPS SCOTT'S 13-GAME STREAK HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - O.J. Mayo didn't play, but Huntington still avenged its only loss of the season by beating Scott County 67-63 in front of 3,500 fans in cold and drafty Veterans Memorial Field House last night. Kentucky Coach Tubby Smith was here to watch Patterson, his main recruiting target. Click here: www.kentucky.com/mld/kentucky/sports/16711308.htmIt still may be tough to land Patterson but it seems Tubby is making sure Patterson knows that he thinks a lot of him by showing up at his games.

It is obvious how important Tubby feels Patterson is to us. I have no inside info at all about this, but I dont have a good feeling about landing him.

He would be a good one to land. I watched part of the Huntington/St Patricks game the other night. Of course, he was overshadowed by Mayo but played a great game on both ends of the court. O.J. Mayo is amazing. USC will probably have him for one year, if he stays out of trouble.
