When it became known a few years ago that Clark Francis was rating sixth-graders, critics pounced on the grand pooh-bah of the Hoop Scoop recruiting service. Francis, who bases his business in Louisville, was all but charged with, at worst, child abuse, and, at best, a warped perspective. Fast forward a few years and know that new Kentucky coach Billy Gillispie hopes to launch a Junior Elite Camp sometime in the near future. He wants to bring talented youngsters, as young as fourth-graders, to UK's campus.
