These days it takes only two words to rile up a University of Kentucky basketball fan: Power forward. The Wildcats need one. Coach Tubby Smith has been chasing prospects for two summers but hasn't landed the big one yet. Just this year the Wildcats have lost out in recruiting battles with North Carolina (Brendan Wright), Iowa (Tyler Smith) and Florida (Dan Werner). More..click hereTime will tell on whether we get a PF pretty soon, we can only keep our fingers crossed that Patterson or Hickson give UK the nod.

I still have hopes for us getting a poward forward. The question is 'how good will he be at this point?' Maybe we will be pleasantly surprised. I'm not going to count out some of our veteran players being better this year either, especially with a good S&C coach.

That I think is our best bet at this time. That either Sheray comes into the season much improved or that Woo or Carter can play some center and allow Randolph to play some power forward!

It would behove Morris to bone up on his PF moves, because that's going to be his position in the pros. Wesley Unseld was the last short center I think and his favorite move was the windmill flop.

Yeah, I think that Morris should get use to playing power forward too. I hope that he's been working on his free-throw shooting. Plus, I think it would be good for him to develop a good hook shot, and learn how to fake pump for an up-and-under move.

I agree Morris is not a center prospect for the NBA. As Shaquille Oneal will tell you he may be the last of his kind! The huge back to the basket player who never comes out on the floor! So regardless Morris needs to be able to do more out on the floor!

It's a shame that we need Morris more at the center position and not PF but Ediddy got done the same way. I suspect though, that we will be seeing Morris at PF a bit.
