In its first nationally-televised game on CBS in school history, the Kentucky women’s basketball team puts its eight-game winning streak on the line when it faces No. 7/8 Ohio State in a Southeastern Conference/Big Ten showdown Saturday, Jan. 6 in Columbus, Ohio. Tip off is slated for Noon EST in the Value City Arena as the game will be carried live on CBS (TV) and the Big Blue Sports Network (Neil Price). That was a heartbreaker. Our ladies played on heck of a ball game to lose.

I taped the game and just finished it about an hour ago and yes it was a heartbreaker. If the girls had any kind of shooting going the first half, they would have won the game. Tough break but at least now they know they can play with the best of them and after playing 5 games in 8 days.
