Sanchez to visit UK weekend after Derby

Forward prospect Mike Sanchez plans to visit Kentucky the weekend of May 11-13, the player's summer coach said yesterday.

Meanwhile, the NCAA calendar and the father of another prospect suggested that one of UK's most closely watched recruiting sagas might be approaching a conclusion.

John Lucas, the father of point guard prospect Jai Lucas, said his son hopes to narrow his college choices to "two or three" schools by the end of the week. A choice could be made on Derby weekend.

This big guy Beas Hamga that BG is after sounds pretty good. He's a 7 footer I think?

Lets all just hope that he doesn't turn out like a similar UK player, Jules Camara, although Camara wasn't that bad he wasn't as good as advertised. But, Im sure Billy Clyde knows what he's doing.

Billy doesn't seem to be putting all of his eggs in one basket and that is a good thing. I saw some film on Hamga, it looked like he had very decent raw talent but seemed a bit slow. I thought he resembled Jon Steward (recruit that died) and that isn't too shabby.
