Warren was one of the first prospects mentioned as a possible UK target after Gillispie became coach. They shared a Texas background, and Gillispie had already established a relationship while coaching Texas A&M. But now that Gillispie has gotten commitments from such guards as DeAndre Liggins (Class of 2008), G.J. Vilarino (Class of 2009) and K.C. Ross-Miller (Class of 2010), Warren is cooling on Kentucky. Click here: www.kentucky.com/276/story/118357.htmlA very good question but it seems Gillispie must have a plan in mind. To my way of thinking, if you have extra people in the same position, you may be thinking about flat out running the bejesus out of the opponents? Or some may be 1 or 2 and done and extras will be needed to fill in? We'll soon find out.

I believe it is way too early to be questioning Billy G. Granted he is getting a lot of early commitments. However, the players are very talented. It honestly shouldn't matter what position they are, with this many big, talented guards, you could be looking at a very versatile team. I personally believe as long as he keeps recruiting the caliber of player that he is, Big Blue fans should have nothing to worry about. The man is a tried and true recruiter, lets not fault him until he gives us a GOOD reason. I think the fans will be very happy with the brand of basketball that Coach will bring BACK to the Bluegrass.

He's a hard worker and his efforts are paying big dividends. Can't fault him for that. The only thing he hasn't been able to land so far is a big man, but I think that's coming soon. I sure hope we don't go through a big man drought like we did the PF spot.

With the way kids leave school anymore, I dont think you can have too many good players spaced out at the different positions.

Some coaches prefer 6'8-6'9 athletic players versus slower big men. Don't tell that to Shaq though.
