All of the marquee names among high school basketball players in the Class of 2007 are in Louisville this week for the McDonald's All American game, which will be Wednesday at Freedom Hall. There's O.J. Mayo, Kevin Love, Derrick Rose, Eric Gordon, Kyle Singler and Michael Beasley, just to mention a few. But this week, none of them is the center of attention. No, that label goes to Huntington (W.Va.) High forward Patrick Patterson and Houston Bellaire point guard Jai Lucas. On the national scene, Patterson and Lucas are not as highly touted as some of their fellow All Americans, but both are still trying to decide on a college. This suspense just kills me.
