UK asks Pettigrew to wait 2 weeks

Although a lot of folks are wishing UK will offer Pettigrew, it looks like the chances of that happening are get slimmer and slimmer.

It is being reported now that Pettigrew has taken UK off of his list. That's too bad, we're still waiting on Patterson and Lucas.

This waiting could come back to bite us. If so, I wouldn't expect too much next year. But, I definitely would not blame Coach Gillispie. He inherited the situation.

BG seems to be getting in with several recruits even after just being head coach a short time. It seems he will start reeling them in sooner or later.

I am all for the Kentucky boys being recruited. But with ones like Pettigrew who is a senior, its going to be tough to pull those in.

The local news this morning, was saying the he may be interested in WKU and Xavier at this time. But, Dennis Felton is coming up from Georgia to pay him a visit. It seems that he has eliminated us altogether.

It's too bad we're guard heavy and waiting on Lucas to boot. Pettigrew would have done well at UK.
