HOOVER, Ala. -- Attempting to do something that hadn’t been done to Alabama in 28 years, the 19th-ranked Kentucky Wildcats allowed five runs in the second inning and never recovered as the No. 29 Crimson Tide handed UK a 13-4 loss in the third-round of the Southeastern Conference Tournament, in front of a boisterous 11,519 fans at Regions Park. ukathletics.com/index.php?s=&url_channel_id=36&url_article_id=22150&change_well_id=2Tough break for the Cats, I hope this doesn't hurt them too bad come selection time.

I felt this might be the year they would make some noise in the SEC tourney.

I hate that the Cats got eliminated from the SEC tourney, but I just read that they will get to play in the Ann Arbor regional. It's on the UK athletics site.

I see where they're seeded 3rd out of 4 teams and looks to be a tough go.
