DEMOSS LIKES MATCHUPS AGAINST MICHIGAN STATE
ROSEMONT, Ill. - It's a story line so familiar that Kentucky's players can recite it from memory.
They're the underdogs going up against a nationally ranked, more recognized program with far more experienced players.
But this UK team, which has been rewriting the program's history all season, doesn't necessarily think Michigan State will be the one to put a period on its storybook season of firsts.
UK's players, despite playing in their first NCAA Tournament, radiate a quiet confidence going into tonight's second-round matchup against the 16th-ranked and fourth-seeded Spartans at Allstate Arena. UK is a five seed.
