The bright lights at Memorial Coliseum were a bit blinding.
Wearing a Kentucky jersey after spending her whole life as a Kentucky fan was a little bit emotional.
It was all a little bit too much for Carly Ormerod, the first Kentucky Miss Basketball to play for UK in 13 years.
She missed her first three shots. Badly.
"I think I just had too much energy," Ormerod explained. "I was nervous, really nervous. I've been nervous about this game since I stepped on campus."
Three times Coach Mickie DeMoss motioned for the freshman point guard to settle down.
