UK Hoops Earns NCAA Tournament Berth

The Kentucky women’s basketball team earned its first bid to the NCAA Tournament in seven years with a No. 5 seed in the Bridgeport (Conn.) Regional when the tournament pairings were released on Monday.

The Wildcats will square off with 12th-seeded UT-Chattanooga (27-3) in the first round on Saturday in Chicago. The other match-up in the pod features No. 4-seed Michigan State (22-9) against No. 13 UW-Milwaukee (22-8). Game time is 2 p.m. EST on ESPN2.
