UK Athletics WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Sophomore Kentucky center Sarah Elliott (McKee, Ky.) tied her season-high with 19 points as one of four Wildcats in double figures, but a season-high 29 turnovers proved costly in an 82-77 loss to Wake Forest on Saturday in Lawrence-Joel Memorial Coliseum. The Demon Deacons scored 37 points off of UK turnovers and connected on 33-of-39 free-throw attempts, including 26-of-30 charity shots in the second half. They have hit a slump lately for sure. But its tough to win on the road anywhere. Lets hope they do not lose their confidence. I think the goal is still to make the tourney this year. Around a .500 record in the sec will still get that done!
