The first time I ever saw gas at $2.00 per gallon was a year ago in May. Now just a short 15 months later I have seen it cross the $3.00 a gallon mark on Nich road. I know that they say some of it is due to the hurricane, but is there no end in sight? Does anyone think there is a max on what the prices will go to?

Gas prices at the Speedway around the corner from the house was $2.49 last night, $2.79 this morning and $3.09 this afternoon! That is a jump of 60 cents in less then 24 hours!

This is more of a decent excuse to raise prices, so look for them to really sink their teeth into this one.

Any time someone sneezes the oil companies use that as an excuse to jack up the prices. They must be positively salivating on this one. (Grrrrrrlknawlkesans) That's Wolf cuss growls.....

I saw prices go from 280 to 299 to 319 to 299 in 4 days. Something ain't right.

If you think it would be different with Kerry you'd be dreaming. Not taking up for Bush but to me they're all pretty much the same.
